Everything below happened. Nothing was staged, nobody was asked to do it again, and most of the people in these frames had no idea a photo was being made.

 

You'll find whole days in here rather than a highlight reel: the morning nerves, the ceremony, the speeches going sideways, the last hour when the room stops caring what it looks like.

 

The portraits are in the mix too, the ones we made in a few minutes and then got out of the way.

 

I've picked a cross-section on purpose, because you're not booking my ten best photographs. You're booking a whole day.
